Utopia – Santa Ana
Utopia is for the younger crowd looking to dance all night long. The club closes at 4am and hits its peak between midnight and two a.m. Bottle service available, as well as a VIP guestlist. Prices are steep by Costa Rican standards. Make sure to arrive early or have a contact to get you on the list or else be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour. The club has a bad reputation for not letting groups of guys in without girls. They play a mix of everything, from electronic music to hip hop. It’s an OK place to check out if you’re living here, but if you only have a night in the Central Valley you would be much better off checking out Vertigo (if there is a party) or Retrovisor. Both of those clubs play house music.

Utopia club is the worst place I have ever been. They promote this place as being fancy and the members as dressing in designer clothes, but it’s nothing but trash. If you want to see a real club go to Europe or U.S. I will never go back again.
Well, if this is Costa Rica’s best club, then I don’t want to visit any other club. God I miss Belgium (and London too!)!
