Sapo Dorado is a hotel located in Monteverde Cloud Forest. Sapo Dorado has three types of room: Classic Mountain Suites, Fountain Suites and Sunset Terrace Suites. My favorite type of room has to be a tie between the Classic suite, which has a fireplace and very modern bathroom, and the Sunset suite which has quite possibly one of the best views of Monteverde, seeing as far out as the Pacific ocean. Some of the highlights of this hotel are a private entrance and porch, two restaurants, one of which is the most popular bar in the area. We consider this to be one of the better choices in the Monteverde area.
