Rincon de la Vieja is located just 20 minutes from the city of Liberia. This jewel of a national park offers many options to its visitors. While it is true that most national parks in Costa Rica are amazing, very few offer as many unique sites and experiences as Rincon de la Vieja. There you can hike up volcanoes, see magnificent waterfalls, see the unique bubbling mud and sulfur streams coming out of the earth cause by the volcanoes, not to mention all of the wildlife you will see.
