Guarana is a small hotel located in Puerto Viejo, 200mts away from the beach on the Caribbean coast. The beach however, is not one that you would want to swim in since it is extremely rocky. All of the hotels located directly in Puerto Viejo are located to that same beach. Guests staying in town have to travel a few kms to get to the first beach. From there it is beach after beach, giving travelers an amazing range of choices. Some beaches are for surfers, and others offer calm waters. This small hotel provides 12 rooms and two tree houses. Some of the highlight of this hotel are a kitchen facility open to all those on a budget, clean and comfortable rooms, as well as private bathrooms and hot water.
