El Avion Restaurant
El Avion Restaurant is located in Manuel Antonio. It is part of the three restaurant family of Hotel Costa Verde. El Avion’s menu caters to the upper middle class, and serves nice dishes at reasonable prices. You can expect to pay between $10 and $20 per plate, which is on the pricier side given the so so quality of the food. Their specialty, like most restaurants on the beach, is seafood. What makes this place different from the rest is that the restaurant was constructed around a US warplane that was used during the Panamanian war. Although most dine at night, I found it more fun to eat there for lunch and take in the amazing views this restaurant has to offer. Another really cool feature is the bar that was built inside the plane. The decor and bar fit perfectly and really add to the overall experience. You can expect to pay between $6 and $10 for a drink here. We give this restaurant a rating of 4 out of 5.

My wife and kids ate at El Avion last year and were not pleased with our meals. My son ordered chicken fingers, and they were not cooked through and through. The waiter was ok, not great. I will agree the view was really nice.
Last weekend a eat at the plane and i can say that it was realy good, the view was grate , the food was incredible and the service was excellent. my advise is, if you go to manuel antonio you should go and it over there!!
