Barcelo Langosta is located just 2kms from busy Tamarindo Beach. This means you can enjoy the beach town nightlife and restaurants, while staying far enough away to be able to enjoy your practically private beach and truly unwind. Barcelo Langosta is one of Costa Rica’s most popular all inclusive resorts. This resort however, is not ideal for those looking for a super resort, as it only sports one swimming pool and two restaurants. The food is good, but pretty repetitious. What I really did not like was the beach. The waves were much too big for me to enjoy the Ocean. I could not have a conversation in the water without swallowing a bunch of salty water. If you are going to stay here, make it a short stay as more than three nights will definitely be boring.
