Barba Roja
There is no better place to watch the sunset in Manuel Antonio than at Barba Roja. This restaurant/bar offers a great happy hour from 4pm – 6pm, just in time to watch that famous sunset. The sun almost always sets at 5:30pm. Seafood is their specialty, although I must admit I was not crazy about my dish. I recommend coming here to take in the lively atmosphere and amazing views. It’s a pretty cool spot on weekends also, with music being played at night. They have occasional house music parties with local DJs.

I love this place so much for the breath taking view (well the Happy Hour is really nice too)! I’ve been to Costa Rica twice and made a point to come here both times. The pictures I have from this place are better than post cards. That is the one thing I can’t get enough of in Costa Rica is the beautiful sunsets!
