Allegro Papagayo by Occidental
One of the top All Inclusive resorts of Costa Rica. This mega resort offers a multitude of amenities, including free use of non motorized water equipment such as kayaks. Food is definitely top notch at this establishment. The Allegro Papagayo was closed for a short while in 2007 due to a problem with their water system, however all system are go now. The one concern we had during our stay was the significant distance between the buildings. Our friends were staying in another building and the walk last ten minutes to reach their room. They do offer shuttle service, but it wasn’t as regular as we would have liked.
